Pete Dye designed this golf course and it is renowned for its meticulously manicured fairways and challenging holes. There are railroad ties scattered throughout the course, which add a unique element to the course. The golf club also has an extensive fitness center, junior Olympic-size pool, and six lighted tennis courts. Dining options are casual and formal.

The course has a par of 72 and is 6774 yards long. The course features wide, manicured fairways with contoured greens. The layout also features railroad ties and extensive mounds surrounding greens. The course was designed by Pete Dye and was originally a private club. Now, it is partially open to the public, but only between 8am and 12pm on certain days. The course is not very long but does have a railroad ties-like appearance. According to JohnnyGK, the course was in good condition. Despite its relatively small size, JohnnyGK rated the course as good, based on his own experience. A great place to also visit is Quail Run Sports Complex.
